Polarized Media Electronic Air Cleaner

A filter with an efficiency equivalent to MERV 13 with a low-pressure drop. These filters meet the requirement of high efficiency with low-pressure drop due to their Fiber filter media along with polarized charged with electrically charged ions.

Polarized Media Electronic Air Cleaner installs directly into the 1” filter rack(s) in the existing heating and cooling system AHU. Its electronically enhanced media combines elements of both electronic and media air cleaners. Particles are electrically charged (polarized) and then collected in the high-efficiency media.

Electrically charged Polarized Media Filters with patented EGAPA filtration AESPL EAC Polarized Media Filters combine elements of both electrostatic & EGAPA.

It is a non-ionizing, polarized media air cleaner A high DC voltage (7.2 KVdc) is applied to the fabric-based media pad. This creates an electrostatic field between itself. This field charges the fibres of the media pad and the particles get stuck to both the media and to each other while passing through.

Polarized Media electronic air cleaners come with an equivalency rating of MERV 13. Add On AESPL Filter Layer enhances equivalency rating to MERV 15.
