UVGI – Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation
UVGI – Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation is a process used to kill Virus, Bacteria and Fungal with the help of Ultraviolet Energy. UVC light at a wavelength of 254 nm is able to penetrate the structure of microorganisms such as viruses.
UVGI is used with HVAC coils or ducts to kill or penetrate bacteria and viruses from the passing air.
